How to become a Childcare Program Administrator
Employers prefer to hire childcare program administrators that have completed a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Some states and districts require a master's degree, which is an additional two years of schooling.
Employers also look for candidates to have between one and five years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility (as you can see, employer requirements will vary).
