How to become a Customer Success Manager

A high percentage of employers require a bachelor's or master's degree in either business administration, computer science, engineering, management information systems, or information technology.

Generally, at least three to five years in the workforce is required by employers. Candidates with customer support experience, or account management experience (most preferably in a SaaS [software-as-a-service] environment) are primarily sought out. For technical skills, experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software is typically requested.
